Marketing assets and announcements
Give affiliates banners, pictures, files and ready-made posts with their own link filled in, and post announcements on their dashboard.
Affiliates sell more when they have good material to share. In Leads & Growth → Affiliates → Marketing assets you add banners and ready-made texts, and post news on their dashboard.
The list shows each asset with its campaign, type, how often affiliates used it (Used) and whether it's shown.
Add a banner or picture
- Click Add asset (1).
- Choose the Type (1): Banner (image), Image or logo, Ready-made text (post, email, ad), File (PDF, zip…) or Video (link).
- Type a Title, for example "Storm season banner".
- Type a Campaign or product (2). Assets are grouped by it in the affiliate's area.
- In Links to (3), type the page the affiliate's link should open, for example
/shop/storm-ready-bundle/. - Click Choose from Media (4) and pick the picture (or paste a video link).
- Choose the Size, for example Square post 1080×1080 or Web banner 300×250.
- Keep Show it to affiliates ticked and click Add asset (5).
The message says "Added. Affiliates see it in their Marketing assets now."
Add a ready-made post
- Click Add asset and choose Ready-made text (post, email, ad).
- Fill in the title, campaign and Links to.
- Write the text affiliates will copy. Type
{link}where their link goes and{coupon}for their coupon code. For example: "Spring is the best time to check your roof after a Colorado winter. Book a 21-point inspection here: {link}" - Click Add asset.
When an affiliate clicks Copy text, {link} and {coupon} are replaced with their own link and code. Banners get Copy HTML code: the picture wrapped in their link, ready for their website. Each copy counts in Used, so you see which assets work.
To change or hide an asset, click it in the list, change it (or untick Show it to affiliates) and save.
Post an announcement
Use announcements for news: a new product, a double-commission weekend, a change in payout dates.
- Under Post an announcement, type a Title and a Message.
- Tick Also email it to every active affiliate (1) if it's important.
- Click Post (2).
It shows at the top of every affiliate's dashboard for 30 days. The message says how many affiliates were emailed. The Announcements card lists your announcements; click Remove to take one down early.
