Footer settings
Set the links, social icons, logo and copyright line at the bottom of every page.
The footer is the strip at the bottom of every page. Its settings are in Design → Menus & Footer, on the Footer tab: your logo, social icons, a row of text links and the copyright line.
Footer links
Footer links (1) works like the header menu (see Edit the header menu):
- Add pages, posts, categories or a custom link from Add menu items on the left with Add to Menu.
- Put them in order with ↑ and ↓, or drag them by ⋮⋮.
- Click Edit on a link to change its label, open it in a new tab, or Remove it.
Footer links are a single row, so they have no submenus: the ← and → buttons are grayed out.
Social icons
Under Social icons (2), each row is one icon:
- Choose the network in Icon, for example LinkedIn.
- Paste your profile address in Link.
- Tick New tab to open it in a new tab.
- Leave Nofollow unticked for your own profiles: normal (followed) links connect your website to your profiles, which helps Google and AI tools recognize your business.
- Click + Add icon (3) for another row; click Remove to delete one.
Logo and copyright
- Tick Show the MTS logo in the footer (4) to show your logo (the one from Design Settings) in the footer.
- Type the Copyright line (5), for example
© {year} Summit Ridge Roofing. All rights reserved.PageShift replaces{year}with the current year, so you never have to update it. Leave it empty to hide the line.
Click Save Menu (6). You see "Footer saved. It's live on every page now."
