Sign in and out
Sign in to your admin, reset a forgotten password, and keep your account safe.
Sign in
- Go to your website address followed by
/admin/, for examplewww.yourbusiness.com/admin/. - Type your Email or username (1) and your Password (2). Click Show to check what you typed.
- Click Sign in (3).
Forgot your password?
- On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? (4).
- Type your email or username and click Email me a link.
- Open the email from your website and click the link. Choose a new password (at least 12 characters).
The link works once and for one hour. If it has expired, ask for a new one.
"Too many failed attempts"
After 5 wrong passwords from the same connection, or 10 for the same username, sign-in pauses for 15 minutes. This stops people from guessing passwords. Wait 15 minutes, then try again, or use Forgot password?.
Sign out
Click Log out at the top right of the admin. Always sign out on a shared or public computer.
