Product options, sizes and plans

One product can have several options, each with its own price: sizes, lengths, editions, or plans such as Basic and Plus. The same box turns a product into a pricing table with monthly or yearly plans.

Add options

1. Open the product in Store → Products.
2. In the Product details box, click Options (plans, sizes, editions…) to open it.
3. Type the Option name (1), for example Length, Size or Plan.
4. Choose how to Show options as (2):
   • Buttons: one button per option next to the price.
   • Dropdown: a menu, good for many options.
   • Plan cards (pricing table): a card per option with its features and its own buy button.
   • Automatic: PageShift picks for you.
5. Click + Add option for each option, then click Edit on its row to open it.
6. Fill in the option's Name and Price (3). Leave the price empty to use the product's price.
7. Click Update at the top right.

Each option can also have its own Sale price, SKU, Stock, Image, Payment link, a Download file for this option and a price per currency. Click Duplicate to copy an option, Remove to delete it, and drag the rows to change their order.

Monthly and yearly plans

For a plan or membership, set the option's Billing (4) to Per month or Per year (or keep One-time). The price then shows as, for example, $29.00/month.

For plan cards, also fill in:

• Short description: one line under the plan name, like "For newer roofs".
• Features (one per line): a checklist on the card.
• Badge (5): a label on top of the card, like "Most popular". Badge color and Button color change the colors for this plan only.
• Button text: the text on the plan's button (for example "Choose Plus").

Which plan is selected when the page opens? The one where you ticked Selected when the page opens. If none is ticked, the first plan with a badge. Otherwise the first plan.

Change the look of plan cards

In Store → Store → Settings, the Plan badges card sets the badge position, size and colors for all plans. Plan buttons sets the button colors, the style of the plans that aren't selected (Outline, Soft (light tint), Muted (gray) or Text link), the shape, width and hover effect. Tick Use these colors and shape for the main product button too to match the main buy button.

Prices in other currencies

If visitors can choose other currencies (see Set up your store), prices are converted with the daily rate and your rounding rule. To set an exact price instead, open Price per currency (optional) in the product box, or the currency field in an option, and type the price, for example 1,299 pesos. Leave it empty to convert automatically.
