Services, packages and payment links
Sell services with a booking link, bundle several products into a package, or send buyers to an outside payment page.
Besides physical products and downloads, a product can be a Service (work you do, like a roof inspection) or a Package (several products sold together for one price). Any product can also send buyers to an outside payment page instead of your checkout.
Sell a service
- Add a product (see Add a product) and choose Product type Service (1).
- Type the Price. A service can also have options, for example a price per home size (see Product options, sizes and plans).
- In Booking or intake link (2), paste the address of your booking page or intake form, for example a Cal.com link. It's shown to the buyer after payment, so they can pick a time right away.
- Click Publish or Update.
On the website, the buy box says Service instead of the stock. Services have no stock and no shipping.
Sell a package
A package bundles products you already sell, often for less than buying them one by one.
- Add the products that go in the package first.
- Add a new product and choose Product type Package (1).
- Under Included products (2), tick the products in the package.
- Type the package Price and click Publish.
The product page says Package of 2 items and lists the included products under Includes:, each linking to its own page. If you set an included product back to draft, it disappears from the list.
Use an outside payment link
If you already sell something on another platform (Gumroad, a Stripe Payment Link, PayPal.me), paste its address in the product's Payment link (3). The product's button then reads Buy now → and goes to that page. A plan or option can have its own payment link.
The link must start with http:// or https://, or it isn't kept.
By default the button goes straight to the outside page, and PageShift doesn't record an order. To record it:
- Go to Store → Store → Payments and scroll to Store details.
- Tick Before sending buyers to a product's own payment link, ask for their name and email first.
- Click Save details.
Now buyers first see "Step 1 of 2: your details", type their name and email, and then go to the payment page. You get an order with the status Awaiting confirmation (link). When the money arrives in the other platform, mark the order Paid (see Handle orders).
