Turn on two-factor login
Protect your account with a 6-digit code from your phone, and see every device that has signed in.
With two-factor login, signing in needs your password and a 6-digit code from an app on your phone. Even if someone learns your password, they can't get in without your phone.
Turn it on
Install an authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password or Authy.
In the admin, open your Profile and click Two-factor login and devices.
Click Set up two-factor login (1).
Security: two-factor login and your devices In the app, tap + or Add account, then scan the QR code on the screen. (If you can't scan it, click Can't scan? Enter this key instead and type the key.)
Type the 6-digit code the app shows, and click Turn on two-factor.
Scan the QR code, then enter the code Save your recovery codes. PageShift shows 8 one-time codes. Print them or keep them in a password manager. They won't be shown again.
From now on, after your password, PageShift asks for the 6-digit code from your app.
Devices and sign-in alerts
The same screen lists Devices that have signed in and your Recent sign-ins.
- When your account signs in from a new browser, you get an email alert. Click Send me a test alert (2) to check it reaches you.
- Click Forget next to a device you don't recognize, or Forget all other devices to sign out everywhere else. Then change your password.
