Use the SEO Analysis
Read the live checklist next to the page editor, raise your score, and show or hide the panel.
While you edit a page or post, the SEO Analysis panel on the right checks it against your focus keyphrase and gives a score out of 100. It updates as you type, so you can see each fix count.
Read the checks
Each line is one check:
- A green dot means it passes, for example "Keyphrase appears in the SEO title".
- A red dot is something to fix, written as what to do, for example "Mention the keyphrase in the first paragraph".
The checks cover:
| Area | Examples |
|---|---|
| Keyphrase | In the SEO title, meta description, address (URL), main headline (H1), first paragraph and a subheading; natural density. |
| Length | SEO title and meta description length, at least 300 words of content. |
| Structure | Exactly one H1 headline, internal links, alt text on images. |
| AI answers | A Short Answer box or Key Takeaways, a link to a trusted outside source. |
| Technical | Schema JSON is valid, the page can be indexed. |
Below the list, Related keyphrases shows whether each of your related phrases appears in the content, a subheading and the description.
Raise the score
- Start with the red checks at the top: the keyphrase checks count the most.
- Make each change in the page or its SEO box. The check turns green and the score changes right away.
- Click Update to save.
You don't need 100. A clear, useful page with the main checks green does better than a page stuffed with the keyphrase.
Show or hide the panel
- Click › (1) at the top of the panel to collapse it. A small SEO tab with your score stays at the top right; click it to open the panel again.
- The page's sidebar also has an SEO Analysis box with Show the SEO panel.
PageShift remembers your choice for the next page you open. On a phone, the panel slides over the page and closes again with the same button.
