Create coupons
Make discount codes with a percentage or amount off, dates, limits and a minimum order, and see how often they're used.
Coupons give customers a discount at checkout when they type a code. Find them in Store → Store, on the Coupons tab. Only Administrators can manage coupons.
The list shows each code with its note, the Discount, the Rules (minimum order, limits, products), how many times it was used (Uses) and its Status: Active, Scheduled (starts later), Expired, Used up or Off.
Add a coupon
- Click Add coupon (1).
- Type the Code (1), for example
FALL10. Letters, numbers,-and_only. Customers can type it in small or capital letters. - Choose the Type (2): Percent off or Fixed amount off.
- Type the Amount (3): 10 means 10% or $10.
- Fill in the limits you need, or leave them empty:
- Minimum order (4): the cart must reach this amount.
- Starts and Ends: the first and last day it works.
- Total uses: how many times it can be used in all (0 = unlimited).
- Uses per customer: how many times one email address can use it (0 = unlimited).
- Type a Note that only you see, for example where you shared it.
- Under Use it for (5), choose Products in the shop, Course fees (Courses) or Both.
- To limit it to some products, tick them under Only for these products. Leave all unticked for every product.
- Keep Active ticked and click Save coupon (6).
What customers see
At checkout, the customer types the code under the order summary and clicks Apply. The summary shows "Coupon … applied." and the Discount line.
If the code can't be used, they see why:

Edit or delete a coupon
Click the code in the list to change it, then click Save coupon. To remove a coupon, click Delete in its row and confirm. Orders that used it keep their discount.
To switch a coupon off for a while without deleting it, untick Active.
